you mean like they did with bluetooth?

besides i can't see verizon allowing a customized interface when they are forcing all their phone manufactures to standardize on a "VZW" interface.

i think the red bars will stay but they will allow flash media on your wallpapers and screen saver like you can do with most symbian platform phones. i thimk it's call WOW SCREENS. they are kinda cool. i have one of my brothe falling off his bike while i taped him with my phone. IT uses the F$%K outaa your battery too.

guny, they may keep the same interface but using flash make it a bit less of a "red bars" thing...

Did you not read the last line of the article? It hasn't been said to what extent verizon will allow customization. Anyone who's been with vzw for any amount of time knows not to get their hopes up when something like this is announced. I remember a similar announcement for their first bluetooth handset and we all know how that went off.

I choose not to jump to any conclusion and stay positive about it until we know what the real deal is.

I guess time will tell guys, interface customization to me means the ability of no red bars/and other custom options and my guess is that they will give us this option. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

gunny re-read. it says the MOST CURRENT offering allows for full custimization NOT what VREIZON will offer. if they did allow full customization they'd still figure out a way to have the get it now srevices in the way. we can only dream though.

no I never said that, my first post was a simple cut and past straight from the article and it said 'interface customization' noone has any understanding of what that really means I'm just hoping for the best is all. 🙂

Maybe VZ will the their standard interface on the phone as the default for the masses (i.e. those that actually like it or don't care) but let the die hards change it. That way they get the best of both worlds. Most people probably wouldn't bother to change it and the ones that would can quit complaining.
