I've been waiting for a phone with an fm modulator for so long. I love the feature list, but ya think its gonna suck like other sprint LGs? or might it be good like verizon LGs?

I just don't see what you are talking about? Suck in what ways? Try explaining yourself! I work in the industry and I can tell you Sprint LG's have excellent reception and good clear earpieces. I don't have any experience with the Verizon LG's...

I work in the industry as well, have been for many years. I'm not bashing the sound quality or reception of LG's, I feel no shame in selling an LG to someone, but I expect more from a phone than just reception. I dont like the LG's for sprint. the 125/225 just is to basic and lacking. the 325 had bluetooth, kudos, but honestly all those LG's feel like a toy when u hold them, nothing compared to sanyo's. Name one high end Sprint LG phone. Now go look at verizon's lineup, there flagship phones have been LG's, the 6000, 7000, 8000, 8100, 9800 (the V) hot kick ass high end phones. If the 550 measures up to them then it will be a phone I will have for awhile.

I like the 550 too, and from what I've seen on this forum, a lot of people do as well. An FM tuner would be great and the design reminds me a lot of my LG VX-7000. Really a beautiful phone. I may consider getting that one with my new every two deal from verizon if it comes out for them.

this design might be a bit too forward thinking for verizon. but it is hot. this phone feels great in your hand and i think it's gonna be a winner for sprint. the keypad is sooooo japanese it's not even funny. you gotta respect.

the phone doesn't have an fm "tuner" it's equipped to broadcast on an fm radio station within a few feet of the phone. you can take it in the car, set the car radio to a station that doesn't come in, then set the phone to the same frequency. then you can listen to the music on the phone through your car stereo without any funny cables. i doubt verizon will ever do it because you don't need a bunch of additional accessories to make it work. i'm hopeful though. looks like a sweet phone.

I think Product Pride is important (that you believe in the product you sell).

but the bottom line is $$$. The more you sell the more you make.

The 125 was the best selling phone at SPrint PCS at one time and the 225 was the best after that.

Sprint PCS sellers must like phones that are high tech, but they make as much dough selling a Sanyo as they do an LG (unless there is a back end program) right?

I'd rather have easy selling phones than high end phones will a google number of features if I were a sales person.
