looks like a cheap version iPhone to me. Personally I think it's nice but still....touchscreen is terrible....nail touching??? Screen will be scratched in no time and please don't tell me get a screen protector.
Keyboard is awful since when you touch it, it doesn't really give you the feedback.
One thing this phone has on the iPhone is copy and paste option and it's pretty much it.

Well after all HTC is chinese company...what can you really expect?

I've used this phone and the iPhone, and I must say that this phone is better for a few reasons. First, the touchflo interface is pretty intuitive. Second, it syncs with Microsoft Exchange Server. Third, and most important, there are multiple methods to type. You can select a full keyboard layout (which sucks) or you can select a 20 key qwerty style (like blackberry pearl, which works awesome)or you can select a 9 key numeric style, like any regular phone. With the 20 or 9 key layout, the keys are plenty big for your fingers, so it works really well. And fourth, the Touch is on Sprint's EVDO data network, which is roughly 10 times the speed of the iphone's crappy Edge data. I would take this Touch anyday over the iphone.

why compare it to the iPhone? the iPhone isnt all that so lets not act like the iPhone is the phone you judge stuff vs.

thats nice what you say and the EVDO network is huge. but from what i saw on that video the touch screen seemed pretty poorly done, and since thats all it has im not sure how I feel about the device.

Based on my experience using it, I didn't find anything wrong or inferior about the touch screen. It seemed to work awesome. I also like how it comes with a stylus, just in case you need it (although I never did have a need).

The comparisons to the iphone are because, while you and I agree it isn't all that of a phone, most people on here seem to think otherwise.

I beg to differ on this being better than the iPhone. The usability and iPhone touch-flo is far superior to this device. The browser and voicemail feature of the iPhone blows this thing out of the water. Not to mention the media options available at iTunes. The only thing that this device can truly tout is having EVDO. It lacks the fun factor of the iPhone just like the Voyager (see PhoneArena review) and that is the main reason why it will not out sale or catch the eyes and create a buzz like the iPhone because even with its faults (which are many), the majority of users love the device. Eric did not seem to impressed and neither do I. I guess I will wait for the Sprint version of the Blackjack in Jan.

What is with every compairing the 2.5g iPhone to this 3g Touch. the iPhone is the black sheep of the PDA family, yes it may have a bigger but it still dose't live up to any of its hype. the Iphone can't Sync with exchange servers, the Touch can. The iPhone uses iTunes, the Touch uses Window Media Player (defalut can be changed to better player), and can play MP3, ACC, and ACC+ (the same formats as iTunes). iphone has 8gigs internal memory, Touch has an SD card slot with takes up to a 4gig card (the cards are easy to swap out and so small its easy to carry more then 1) Finaly the price iphone costs $399.99 for 2g technology where as the the Touch is going for $349.99 with a $100 Mailin making it only $249.99.

So i ask again why would anyo...
