Dear Samsung,

While I understand handset sales have been decreasing across the board due to saturation almost at peak, the simple thought that removing key elements that many people sought solitude in, was not good a move to embrace those that made the transition to purchase your products.

Rather than listen to your loyal customers, Samsung decided in allowing itself to bargain with another handset manufacturer's success. In doing so, you alienated the reason why Samsung aligned itself to greater fame in the phone business.

As a diehard purveyor of another manufacturer, I left it to pursue Samsung due to maintaining the key features or options that you kept relevant in an industry that others seemly dismissed with these needs or wa...

John B., you hit the nail smack dab where Samsung needs to feel it.. on the head!! I did my part to contribute to the 38% decline in sales for the reason of not adding a removable battery and eliminated the sd card. These missing items were deal breakers for me. The phones were gorgeous, they were Samsung, but they didn't appeal for the reasons mentioned. The LG G4 had what I wanted AND needed. I will stay with LG, great phone btw, until Samsung retools or tunes out on what we SAY we need...whichever comes first! John, thank you for giving voice to our frustration and disappointment in the Samsung flagship line. I signed up for Phonescoop just so I could comment...I do love this site btw..June

Thanks June!

Not only have I called Samsung, but, I also commented on its webpage and forwarded my above letter to its management team......with better grammer and all words intact! Lol.

Enjoy the G4. This phone is in my line of sight. I have a couple of friends that purchased it and love it. One already realized he might need more memory so he purchased a larger card($12 online). The beauty of expandable memory is not being forced to pay an extra $100 for the next size phone. There's no need to. We can enjoy the same phone and add our own memory for far less. I don't know why people don't realize this racket the industry has going here.

Good am..It is a racket and we are caught in the net!

Listen to your friends and do consider the G4. The memory is expandable to 2T, if anyone ever makes a card. LG had a promo; send copy of the sale and get 'free 32g card, 3,000 mah, and battery charger'...gotta love 'em, they sent two packs to me and quite a few others..by mistake! Customer called, was told to keep it, not worth the cost of sending back!! 6,000 mah, 64g total, 2 chargers. I'm rollin' in the deep and with a company that anticipates a need.

I hope hearing from you and others who feel the same, just may compel Samsung to consider what consumers want...and to reconsider what they want...SALES.

What about the new architecture for internal storage that Samsung uses in the S6 for faster read/write speeds. Wouldn't this be hampered by the read/write of a low class SD card? Also as someone who sells cellphones, I see a lot of instances where people's SD cards mysteriously fail on them causing them to lose many important pictures/videos that can not be replaced.

One thing I think we can all agree that Samsung did right though with the S6, and I sincerely hope others follow suit, is to have their minimum internal storage option be at 32GB instead of 16GB. Lollipop itself (with Touchwiz) takes up a good 5-6GB of storage and 16GB just doesn't cut it anymore when your OS is going to take up 33% of your available storage. The latest i...

Why not bypass the sd card reader by defaulting to internal memory?

In response to memory failures, I haven't seen any evidence that internal memory is anymore durable. I have found that many failures have been due to not screening what is downloaded and stored regardless of internal or SDCard. However, the nice thing about SD card failures, is that it allows easy replacement and be back in business far quicker than having to go to a service center, wait in line and possibly have to replace the whole handset.

Why should we have different levels of handset memory phones where onboard memory sucks up money from consumers that want the next level up? My friend purchased an LG G4 and found that he may not have enough memory. He claims he...
