Hopefully this means no more oooogly phones, of which Nokia has had more than a few... I like the simpler E-Series, and the new N-Series is pretty good too. =D

It's time. Nokia needed to get away from the "FooFoo" design mentality made to become obsolescent in the sort turn and for kids.

The Nokia 6101-02 etc models were chintzy and cheap in quality. The functionality and software were Nokia in strength but the phone quality was just plain cheap.

I have been a Nokia loyal client since 1996 and I just moved to HTC after the issues with the 6101.

HTC "Tornado" is the type of product Nokia use to be known for, cutting edge, technology was the focus and it is well made.

i have the 6102 and might i say that it has taken a beating, and it gets better reception in my rural area than most of my friends who paid more. the picture quality is better on the camera too. yes it's not pretty, but what do you want? a pretty phone? or one that works? obviously they're working to give you both. and one more thing i'd like to add is that while working in the cellular world i have seen many a customer with nokias that are anywhere from 5-11 years old and still working perfectly. in fact, these people wouldn't trade it for all the pink razrs in the world, or the slvr, what good is a pretty phone if it doesn't work properly. and again, i saved money too!
