since when is the BlackBerry Classic mid-range?

The BlackBerry Classic is by far the best phone BlackBerry has made in YEARS. I hope that at least, if they are focusing on nicer devices that one of them continues the Classic's line

It's not a top-end phone by any modern standard. It has a slow, old processor and only an 8-megapixel camera. Mid-range is accurate, if not generous.

What's the problem with a not to old processor?

If the OS performs superb I don't see the problem, y'all android fans are mind blind with all the specs bs

I agree that specs aren't everything.

But you don't have to compare to Android or anything else. Just looking at BlackBerry's own lineup, the Passport is the high-end model, with dramatically better specs than the Classic. Even the Z30 has better specs. Within BlackBerry's current lineup, the Classic is clearly in the middle of the range.

I understand but I never said it was a high end phone, but that's not reason to ping-point it has a not-current processor and that gonna make it slow because specs are not everything.

The classic is definitely mid-range. The older Z30 is substantially better in all spec categories, including processor, and the Passport is an absolute powerhouse.

The Z10 is almost a better phone than the classic, if you aren't too upset about a slightly lower resolution screen. I was hoping for more out of the Classic, it has old internals.
