Well, how about this..

CINGULAR has already deployed HSDPA and probably will be the first HSDPA operator in the world..

So just to re-iterate..
1> FIRST in HSDPA Commercialization, BEFORE DoCoMo
2> HSDPA with data rates on initial phones/ data cards being in the 1.8 Mbps/ 3.6 Mbps is superior to VZW 3G NW...

Take that VZW, DCM

It is true if you have the right equiptment. Check out the option globetrotter cards, those will get yout true highspeed HSDPA where it's available. As for handsets, it's going to be a little while before they launch

Yeah, but what the hell's point but for domestic use? The FCC didn't approve a 2100 spectrum for WCDMA, so for all that extra AND the HSDPA, we're not going to get far in the roaming market.

What I think is crazy is that the Japanese have developed a data transfer rate HIGHER than most commercial Wi-fi bands and public use internet service providers.
