Dream on. Do you have any idea how many different versions of games we have to ship in order to support all of the different handsets carriers use? I recently released a moderately well supported game that required 30+ builds.
"Standardization" is a 4-letter word amongst the carriers and the hardware manufacturers, particularly for GSM. Sprint has been doing a pretty good job with their recently released handsets, and BREW is more-or-less a consistent standard if you're careful with your coding.
But Cingular and T-Mobile? Hahahahahaha!
