Nokia, Sanyo To Merge CDMA Phone Operations
Sprint phones
What prices have dropped anyway? Some EVDO phones were dropped in price to get more people on EVDO...
Just to give you a hint, don't expect anything as far as launches for at least another month. There is Motorola coming soon (since it has been announced on here I can say this) but it is a very low end device. Replacements for some of Sprint's stand-by phones (think high sellers) will be out around early summer. Sorry, that's all I'm gonna say.
I had a Sprint phone once but had to discontinue service to contact family through Nextel 2 way. I'm wanting to return to Sprint but the only phone that has the interesting features I'm looking for is the MM-7500, yet the phone itself doesn't catch my interests. With the features of Nextel and Sprint it's nail biting to wait for what they come out with next.
For the same price as the 7500 ($299 before activation discounts), you could go with the Samsung A920 (which is what I did). It has a larger screen, Bluetooth and a micro-SD card for picture/video/music storage that the 7500 doesn't have. I can't quote direct costs, but the A900 is actually a bit less expensive to Sprint over the 920 but carries a $50 premium based on the fad of the thin phones. Good luck!
Remember, the latest and greatest phone will only stay that way for a couple months, if not weeks. There`s always gonna be something better on its way, thats the nature of technology in general. They`ll milk us for every extra half mega pixel, for every new feature, and for every new service offered!
