Jeez, Samsung. How original. Can Samsung make anything that wasn't copied from someone else?

I don't really place a great deal of importance on this "Samsung is copying motorola" talk. With the multimedia features on phones increasingly requiring larger screens and better keyboards, the only dimension that can be miniaturized without sacrificing functionality is the depth of the phone. Obviously, every company is going to try to reduce the thickness of the phone, since that's about the only form factor innovation left to do.

(Besides, I remember Samsung and a whole bunch of Japanese companies marketed super slim candybar style phones back in 2000~2001, when Motorola was still busy pumping out StarTac by the boat loads.)

At least Samsung get their prodcuts to market relatively close to when they say they will...unlike Motorola that anounces products when they are only concepts and they are ofter a year or more late and some times even cancel the products after saying for months that it will be available "soon"....
