All Android Phones? Really? What about the Galaxy Note 3?

It seems that the report says that Android Pay will support all Android phones running KitKat or later. Really? Will the Galaxy Note 3 be supported? After all, the Galaxy Note 3 (except for Sprint's version) was incompatible with Google Wallet's Tap and Pay feature due to the NFC chip's drivers not supporting it, since at the time it was sold AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile were pushing Softcard.

It appears that like Google Wallet, Android Pay will use HCE instead of a Secure Element. I wonder how would they support the Galaxy Note 3.

The Note 3 was updated to Lollipop, yeah? You should be able to use Google Wallet now if it's running Lollipop. The Lollipop update effectively killed Isis/Softcard.

Nope, I still don't get the Tap and Pay option on my Google Wallet app on my AT&T Galaxy Note 3.

Do you have a Tap and Pay option in your NFC settings?
