T-Mobile UMA "A Couple of Bucks a Month"
"couple of bucks" plus your VoIP service?
if this is supposed to fix tmo's coverage issues, it's more of a band-aid to the surgery it needs. it's innovative that they are offering the service, but it seems like a better way of conserving anytime minutes and side-stepping ma bell than fixing coverage issues
But what about t-Bobile?
what about them?
"Philips was careful not discuss their carrier partner for the T709, but the phone has been shown with T-bobile branding and appears to be an exclusive for the carrier."

sorry, forgot to mention.....you won't need a voip service in conjunction with this....it is voip.....all you need is a Wi-Fi connection to what most likely will need to be a broadband source.
Damn djdelay you are well informed, good info, well done. You must be a cellular jedi, take me as your padawan please, I promise I will not turn to the dark side 🙂

You need an Internet connection - you would have to pay for that, but that's it.
