Yeah, Verizon...the phones are just a joke. Hey, is there anything from stopping someone from buying this phone from Korea and activating here? Would that work?

I have a Cingular phone too.. but my Verizon phone is a lot better looking 🙂

And with EVDO, real speakers, and a form factor made for a man with big hands.. it's hard to beat 🙂

My Cingular phone is tiny and dainty.. and I keep it hidden in my pocket lest someone see it.

Nice to Moto coming out with a thin slider to combat Samsung and LG, who have been stealing Moto's design in the last several years... just as Hyundai has in the auto industry

Oh whatever, verizon isn't any good. Cingular was the first provider to carry the razor, not like the other carriers who just had to have it. Too bad that they don't have the Cingular network attached to them. They are the best plus no one, I mean no one can beat their rollover minutes. You guys are wasting your money on the mintues that you lose elsewhere.

Hmmm....

I have both Verizon and Cingular.
Verizon is way more reliable for me. I get more bars in more places with my Verizon phone than I do with my Cingular phone.
Rollover is nice but not a major selling point for me.
Like I said before. I wish cingular would make a phone that isnt so small and dainty that I feel weird when I carry it.
I hide my Cingular phone in my pocket while I carry my man size Verizon LG VX8100 on my side with pride!!

To each his own. But overall, Verizon works in more places and thats what its all about.

Well, i used to have verizon, and i disagree with you, my cingular phone has never given my any trouble, but as you said, to each his own.

Um... my Sony Ericsson S710a fits very nicely in my hand, and I have very large hands. Good heft to it, very solid feel.

Small & dainty? Uh... no, not at all.

hey.....first off.....that's a qualatative statement and you can't difinitively make one. It's opinion and is subjective.

secondly.....if you are consistently 100 minutes under your plan limit, that means you get 100 rollover minutes a month. Ever stop to think that maybe you're just on the wrong plan and that you are gonna be around 100 minutes below every month. Rollover is a great selling tactic, because it sounds great. In reality however, it is rarely useful. Only in times of tragedy or emergency do the minutes spike to make that needed. Even in that case, you could handle any additional calling on nights or weekends.

First of all, you can't spell. Second of all, isn't this site about opinions? And trust me, lots of people use thier rollover mintues. You can't tell me that you consistantly use the exact amount of mintues every month. You are a rare case if you do. Let's say it's for some kind of rare thing happening in your life...if you go over your mintues, then you are paying way too much from the other providers. Trust me, Cingular is the best all around. Phones, plans, coverage, everything, they have it all. And if it's truely an emergency, why wait until nights and weekends?? That could be impossible. Face it, you're wrong.

Yes it is a place for opinions.

But I have to disagree with Cingular having the best plans, phones and coverage.

Does Cingular have a phone that is large enough for man sized hands and has large dual speakers a 2" 262K TFT Display on the inside and outside and EVDO broadband access?

The Cingular phone I have has EDGE and it takes forever to load a web page.

When I travel out West, Cingular often does not even get a signal where Verizon will always get one.

It may have the best coverage in your area. But comparing coverage charts only, Verizon wins hands down.

My reason for also having a Cingular phone is because in most parts of Eastern Kentucky, Cingular is the only cell phone company with towers (for some odd reason).

i hate it when people say that. what good are these minutes that your saving if you dont use your minutes anyway. Your excited about a gimic that benefits you in no way. Sweet, you save up minutes that you never use. And the razr sucks anyway. It is a phone that people buy because of looks, not actual phone function. If you know anything about the phone its self, it is ridden with problems. Its good they come with year warantees because anyone that buys this phone will most likely use their warantee within a few months.

I wholeheartedly agree. Verizon is not all that. They may have the coverage. But their plans and phones stink. Well the phones have improved but Sprint's and Cingular's are still better and at least they dont cripple Bluetooth.

Then Verizon puts the same lame ass menu system on all of their phones! LOL What the hell is that, soc...

It seems that your argument that Verizons plans are overpriced is in conflict with your other comparisons with cingular. Both of their standard single line rate plans offer the same minutes for the same prices. Are we saying now that Cingulars plans are also "overpriced?"
