Is this a joke?

What the hell does the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and Al Sharpton's National Action Network have ANYTHING to do with spectrum that Dish buys?

What kind of agenda are they trying to push here? I see zero issue of this being their concern in the slightest. But if we know anything about Al Sharpton, the man will open his mouth if a buck is to be made, and turn any benevolent issue that does not concern him into a racial issue and turn it into how the spectrum could have been bought by his non-bidding company (yes his agency is a company) and how it could have spread his agenda to "colored people" (he calls them that, not me) around America.

Well I don't know about NAN, I dont recall reading anything about them but the NAACP is onboard because the discount rule isn't based on the size of the business, its that the discount only applies to women and minority owned businesses of a certain size.

You see this a lot in government contracting, and its one reason why there are so many small companies no one ever heard of that get these huge government contracts.

If your a woman or minority (or female minority Oh My) with a skill, like something technical or analytical, you can pretty much just start a company and get preferential government contacts, often for hundreds of millions of dollars.

What I am saying, I find it rather coincidental and that oh so perfect timing for say, the NAN and NAACP to complain and moan about yet another black entity unfairly treated. I mean, its all over the media today on how unfair the world is, because blacks didnt get this, didnt do that, cant say this, wont do that.

Sorry, but unless the NAACP or NAN was planning on purchasing the spectrum or can come up with the names of companies that are black owned that the spectrum would have mattered to, which were justly unfairly passed over for Dish's entities, then really, they have zero room to talk, or even fight against the government.

At the end of the day, everyone forgets one simple thing. The GOVERNMENT owns all the radio spectrum in the ...
