Amazon Pushes Significant Update to Fire Phone

At least Amazon is supporting it's phone. Android customers spend a lot of time waiting for updates that never come. Look at the number of Flagship phones that are still waiting on Lollipop.

I bought one of these when it was $199 and sure it's nothing fancy but it just works. Battery life and reception are very good on T-mobile. The initial price point killed it otherwise it's a solid phone and now at $189 out right new it's a good deal.

I have this phone and I have to say I have been very pleased with support for phone!! I would not rule out another Amazon phone though...I am sure Amazon has learned a thing or two from the first launch.

Amazon has a long history of supporting apparently failed products until they are successful. Apparently, I am the only one who remembers back when the first generation Kindle was released and it turned out to be a huge failure and everyone was laughing ' the concept of e-books is a joke, it will never catch on', right up until the moment that Amazon finally made a Kindle that people wanted, and now people are talking about the printed word being completely phased out.
