wake up
Hopefully other carriers will pick up on this 😁

or we could just go get amp'd phones
...
I use nWeb on U.S. Cellular. Works pretty good and its similar to a normal WAP browser.
...
or you can download an opera mini and get html web browsing on you phone 😎
...
Exactly what i was going to say. And Opera mini is a free download. Best web browswer ever used for mobile phone. Better than Reqwireless (sp?) or Google's HTML to WML translations.
Nothing special here, move along.
...
OperaMini is great but I doubt it will work on amp'd mobile phones unless the phone as Java capability.
...
opera mini doesnt work on my friggin phone!!! 😕 it says "no network connection found" spent 2 hours on the phone with tmobile..on the second hour spek with a tier 3 TSG rep who said "3rd party software isnt garaunteed" blah.. thought id do some research.. huge mistake. talk about opening a can o worms.. now i like cellphones.. But im not some pasty long haired nerd-a-tron hacking phones for a living.. (no offense to you!-just not me!) .. 🤭
...

Some already have picked up on this. While sprint's content gateway will do quite a bit of translation, this is yet again boosted by Google mobile search.
Agreed, carriers like TMobile, Cingular, etc. really could use such a thing.
