actually it would speak to you, IE, Turn left on Morse Rd in 2.3 miles. As well as show you on the screen. My father has one and it is very reasonable for those who doesnt want to pay 700+ dollars for a navigation system

Pfft. My brain tells me to tell you that talking to oneself is not a form of insanity. But be nice to your phone...he/she's got feelings too.

Oops, well I stand corrected. 😲 Good job Moto!! How does the V325 sound when speaking to you, as far as level and clarity? In my opinion, most of the Moto V-series phones leave quite a bit to be desired as far as quality build and their speakerphones...

Well, from my past experience (V710 and V260) the 710 was a good speakerphone, the 260 was just ok. Both sounded clear; only the 710 was loud enough. Both could stand to be louder.

I have the A840, very similar in looks to V710, speakerphone is good on it as well. The speakerphones on V400/V500/V600 were just abysmal.

Good timing: we just got this phone for my wife on Sunday and she tried the GPS for the first time last night. I wasn't with her, but she said it worked great and gave clear vioce prompts the whole way. Very nice phone. The screen is amazingly sharp. Even the camera worked pretty well with indoor light (it's only VGA resolution).

Now if Palm would add this to the next Treo!
