Sprint is extending their offer of one of the biggest rip offs in the industry-phone insurance, in my opinion. It used to be a decent deal like 8 years ago. They had only a $50 deductible and cost around $5 a month. They kept upping their prices and deductibles and now it's a total joke. You pay $12 a month and a $200 deductible for a refurbished (used) POS phone that 7 times out of 10 isn't even the phone you originally had the insurance for. They'll send you a downgraded phone and say it's because they're out of stock on your exact model. You're better off just taking your chances and not getting insurance. If you do lose or break your phone, go buy a used one on craigslist or eBay and you'll still be ahead. Figure if you have your...

I've worked at Sprint and T-Mobile and was an AT&T customer and Sprint just has the worst deal in insurance. They keep raising the price. AT&T now has shrinking deductable, and T-Mobile offers early upgrades with their insurance now (at least top tier).

What does Sprint have? They offer cloud storage that every phone already offers? Lame.

Sprint has the worst coverage and the worst, pretty much, everything-plans, rates, add on features, etc. I wouldn't have Sprint even if they were the only carrier around. But I definitely wouldn't have that insurance.

They are also the cheapest or tied for cheapest at any point of the top 4. I recently put someone from ATT on a cut your bill in half plan 2 phones 10GB for $71.
