What's even more unfortunate is how many people are ok with being wiretapped without the courts being involved. Americans are increasingly giving up their right to privacy, willingly, no questions asked. Which is very sad.
It's not that we are losing our rights, it is just that we are living in a society that is getting more and more well informed and where more and more information is available on the web.
These things have been going on for decades and we are just now learning about them.
Now as soon as they start wanting to take away the guns, then it will be time to panic! ;)

Oh, now those would be some seriously entertaining phone records.
These records are obtained by these companies calling your cellular provider and pretending to be you. They are masters of deception and social engineering... thats why you see the variable estimated time of 1-4 hours for record retrieval.
Oh well...if they paid my bill during that call, i guess i wouldn't mind all that much.

I strongly suspect current and former employees of the respective cell carriers are involved in this operation. I just posted about this on the other thread, but it takes shockingly little info to get setup online, or to call into a carrier's CS to request info, or make changes to...
