Hard to take him seriously when he's trying to sell us off

That may be the case, but the fact of the matter remains - the big two have a lot of spectrum, and so does Sprint for that matter. AT&T and Verizon have a lot more that is user-network friendly, and the fact that T-Mobile lacks that is disturbing.

The point I think he is trying to make is that the big two claim to not have any spectrum, yet when you look at their FCC papers you see that they do have plenty, and are using their bankrolls to ensure the smaller carriers die out by starving them the opportunity to buy spectrum. There is something wrong with that, and anyone can admit it. Even in capitalistic society we are, you cant be successful if you lack a competition. You just simply skirt by on default.

That's mostly true as far as the basic facts go, but my point is that he presents this as a defense of competition when in fact he's looking to eventually cash out by reducing competition.
