I don't know if Verizon will do this, but with Sprint, if you download music onto a card, and then pop that card into another phone, it won't play. When you download a song it registers itself to the ESN of the phone.

I'm hoping that Sprint lowers their price down to compete with VZW.

I know in other countries you can download songs as low as 9 cents a song. Evil or Very Mad
