So we have a phone with ghastly ugly looks (Juke), a BB that's been out for 1.5 years, and a new Chocolate for the former RAZR heads who got a Chocolate because their RAZRs crapped out and the Chocolate is the new "It thing".

Voyager looks cool I guess. Not for me though. Windows Mobile all the way! 😁

Yeah, The Voyager looks hot but it's bascially an enV with a touch screen, but it's not the touch screen that makes the iPhone hot, it's all the presentation and the ease that you use it with. The whole EDGE thing dooesn't bother me b/c I can get WiFi signal anywhere in the city. Anyway, the other phones look ok, but the BB looks good. The only iPhone killer is going to be iPhone 2

hahah true that phoneman3. Honestly, I can't wait for the Voyager to hit the stores so I can start messing around with it. I mean all of these new phones look awesome. I'm just not so sure about that Samsung Jukebox phone but that's about it. I can't wait to see what the touch screen experience will be like on the Voyager. Oh yeah when on a WiFi network, the Iphone is pretty dam fast and as you said, you get the signal in the City. That's good for you. This phone should be comparabel to the Iphone. I mean sure the inside of the Voyager will still have the full qwerty keyboard as exactly like the enV does now, BUT they say that thankfully Verizon changed up the User Interface on it a bit and the front of the phone is all new. ...We shall see....

The Juke is a kid phone. With a screen that small and the switchblade design who else would want it. It is a phone which runs the bare minimum of features while staying in with the next generation “in” crowd. Music player, fresh design..??? That’s it.

The Pearl, as mentioned before, has been out forever.

The Venus is an interesting twist but really the same old hat. A Chocolate phone minus the scroll wheel and a dab of touch screen. It should sell pretty well as its design is agreeable to most marketing genres. The UI is nearly exactly the same so looks, maybe the 2MP camera, the addition of some touch screen action and the somewhat agreeable price should make this one a big money maker after the dust settles...

Very true indeed. Good point. I mean Sure the Venus is basically the chocolate w/ a touchscreeen on it as you've already said and thank fully they upped the camera fro a 1.3 to 2 MP. Finaly. It took them forever to do that. I just wish they would've given the new Motorola Q9M a 2 MP camera instead of a stingy 1.3. That would've made it all the more better honestly. Wait, is the Voyager the only phone with Verizon's newer UI on it then? I thought the Venus had it newer UI on it as well. Yeah from a marketing standpoint and considering I'm an advertising/marketing major, Verizon hit the market big w/ the Chocolate phone because it looks good.

The Voyager is not the iphone killer that everyone is saying that it is or could be. It's not, and it won't be. Why you ask? Because the Voyager is in a totally different league than the iPhone. The only thing in common is the touch screen. After that . . . nothing.

iPhone = 2G Edge
Voyager = 3G EVDO Data

iPhone = 8GB Storage (shared memory with applications and O/S)
Voyager = 8GB Removable Storage that can be totally dedicated towards music.

iPhone = YouTube
Voyager = Live TV via Media Flow.

iPhone = Can't take a picture and send it via SMS to another phone.
Voyager = Take as many pictures as you would like and send them via SMS to other handsets.

iPhone = Battery dies, you'll have to pay $80 and ship out your phone...

Agreed. The Voyager (a horrible name, so I hope you don’t mind if I call it the 10k from now on) is not the iPhone. The iPhone would be the best phone in the world right now if it was with Verizon and if its design was a little more flexible. By flexible I mean things such as a removable battery and removable memory and the like. Sadly it’s not though. The 10k is packed full of features and does run on the Verizon network so I would, for those reasons, say the 10k is probably slightly better than the iPhone. However as said by JunkNugget (hehe 🤣 ), they are not really in the same league. First there is no denying the facts; Verizon does have the fastest network followed by Sprint (removing the exception of wifi). The 1...
