Verizon Holiday Phones

I'll answer that one. MONEY.

Steve jobs came to VZW and said "We have this idea to make a phone and we want you to be the exclusive carier. And in return you're gonna hand us a percentage of every iphone users monthly bill! $$$$$"

VZW responded with "F you steve jobs. We buy your phone, we pay for it up front, WE then retail it to our cutomers at our price. That's the way we deal with every other hardware manufacturer and apple is no diffrent. you don't run our network, you don't run our customer service you don't do anything FOR vzw... why would we just GIVE you a percentage of our income just because you sold us some phones? "

Steve jos said "but but but .. its the IPHONE .. it'll have the apple logo on it and everyone knows theres enough pathetic apple fanboys that will buy anything from apple with any price tag, even if it is missing over half the features of most free phones"

VZW lauhed Jobs clean out the building and said "AT&T is pretty desperate .. go talk to them.

Sure enough AT&T knowing that thier network sucks beyond all reason jumped at the opportunity and now hands steve jobs a percentage of every iphone users monthly bill.
