Three New Treos Coming Next Year

I hope that these new Treo models provide more stability than the current Treo 650 GSM model--periodic crashes, screen freezes, etc. Palm and Cingular know it's a problem, but Palm refuses to recall it. Instead they just keep making useless updates that don't fix the problem. It is the most unstable product that I have ever used next to Windows Mobile 3 smartphones.
The Treo is a great product when it works as it should, but it doesn't more often than not. Hopefully, the email with BlackBerry Connect will be better than the Versa Mail, as well as better handset volume without having to purchase third party applications. Faster key response would be a plus as well.

Palm pretty much said they're done with Palm OS. THey spun off their software division(palm source) and only have a contract with themuntill 2007 to deveop Palm OS. So after then unless they renew, no more palm OS

Maybe things will work out better for them with another operating system. I haven't used Windows Mobile 5, but I know that Windows Mobile 3 was problematic. I used it it on three different smartphones.

My main concern, other than the usual problems with this phone, is the lack of Graffiti.

There is a freeware application called Doodle Bug that will let you do graffiti on the Treo. I have small fingers and the keys were even small for me.

I've never used Graffiti II, so I can't compare. Also, http://mytreo.net/downloads/ will be your best friend if you have a Treo because it gets all of the latest updates for various applications for the Treo.
