Any ideas on US carrier availability?

Cingular (or at&t, whatever), Sprint, or Verizon?

i think it would be sprint probably doing this, according to article verizon wont either. (Recently Verizon announced they would not use DVB-H as rumored)

cingular, i dont think would be doing this.

sprint just did a huge deal with the cable companies so this wouldnt hurt to add this capability.

Alltel is on the top of my list of possible companies to pick it up, should it be featured as a service. It would be one more way they could seperate themselves on a larger scale.

yea, perhaps, but he didnt mention alltel. he was just talking about the big 3. i dont think alltel would do it first, becuase if it costs a lot of money and is a failure that company will pay heavily for it. i think we will see a leader then we will see other carriers either do that same thing or do other technologies.

although i cannot prove it, the fact that phones with this chipset are launching in europe first seems to indicate this will come to the us on GSM networks. my money might be on t-mo just because i could see them using it to offer advanced media service before they are able to launch a 3g network.
