Apparently we don't need our eyes...

I mean, watching these flicks on screens the size of a few postage stamps? My eyes are already bad enough.

And one of the debut movies is Short Circuit, to boot, drama.

Sprint hates us.

I don't care who the provider is, I wouldn't be able to look at my little tiny screen for more than a 5 minute clip. I guess there are some people that might be able to.
I think it's all a ploy to get us back to buying larger phones. How about a bag phone with a pop=up display?

I think they are just trying to align themselves with competition. Look at the new video IPOD. People are watching movies on that screen and it's a whole lot smaller than my Sprint Pocket PC.

But unlike the average pocket pc, can actually process 30fps at a decent NTSC resolution.

I was pretty much joking. I guess if people really need or want this kind of service, it's a good thing. I don't need to see shows that badly. I'd rather be watching my Hi-def and DVR at home.

Natch. I'll also stick to watching "The West Wing" on my full size television. Better for the eyeballs.

I agree. I don't really see myself downloading a movie on my cell phone so I can walk around watching it. If I'm waiting at an airport for whatever reason and I'm bored I'm going to go buy a magazine for $4 instead of paying $40 to watch a movie or TV show on a 2.5" screen. Plus there's no surround sound. (I hope this doesn't prompt someone to make a DTS equipped cell phone. That's about as bad an idea as watching a movie on it.)
