Sprint to Woo AT&T and Verizon Customers with Halved Rates
SUCKER deal !
that' 59.99$ plus 25$ = 74.99$ a month before taxes.
Sprint cut it in half, so i pay around 37$ before taxes.
but i paying FULL PRICE for the phones!
on ATT, i can upgrade to the new Samsung for 299$ or 399$ (Note Edge) every 2 years instead of paying 800-1000$ full price on Sprint phones.
2 years contract 399$.
full price 950$.
i have 2 lines,
both phone at 399$ each. 399x2=798$.
you pay 2 phone at full price = 1900$.
1900-798 = 1102$
meaning you be paying 1102$ more to get the phone at full price !
My contract was up with Sprint and a number of factors led me to re-up rather than choose any of the "no contract" options. One of the major hooks is that for the new plans, a corporate discount only applies to the data plan ($30) while on my existing plan (Everything Now 1500) it applies to the entire first line where voice/messaging/data are all bundled together ($99).

$59.99+$25=$84.99, not $74.99
plus i believe a smartphone on a 2yr contract is $40 for internet not $25
so $40-$25=$15
$15x24months=$360
$84.99x24=$2039.76
$2039.76+$360=$2399.76
And plus your $399 for the edge $399+$2399.76=$2798.76
You comment about a smartphone on a two year contract would be $40 only applies to mobile share and mobile share value plans above a particular data bucket.
Looking at his prices, he's probably on the Family Talk 450, one line is a smart device with a 2 gb data plan, the other device is obviously a feature phone or a basic phone.
You really should understand what you are talking about before you make posts like this.
