Focus on a few major handsets, such as the Galaxy Note, Galaxy Mini and Galaxy S lineup, and get rid of the 875 'Galaxy something or other' derivatives....

i'd even go as far as End of Lifing some of the devices earlier - assuming that's not up to the carriers. they're still selling galaxy S3s and S4s. I'd ditch the Mega series as well. And all the random variations of junks.

Entry level, midrange disguised as last year's high end, high end, and Note series.

Oh the same goes for the tablets.

Because there was nothing new under the sun for the S5 and note4...not enough people cared.

I am selling a ridiculous number of S5 and Note 4, indeed, when a customer asks for a contract phone, it is almost always either the S5 or the iPhone, I can't keep enough of either of them in stock. The S5 and the Note 4 are not the problem, the problem is that 875 other phones called 'Galaxy this or that' which aren't selling, and they aren't selling because people have no idea what they are...people are always asking me 'what is the difference between the Galaxy Centura and the Galaxy Ace?' and since neither of them have any really distinguishing features the only thing I can do is make a smart ass response and say 'the price!'
