...of what the motives of the carriers are when the binky gets taken away.

Does anyone ever wonder why AT&T is always the most vocal when it can't have its way? There is no way a carrier should be so disgruntled to the point that it would sacrifice expanding its network capabilities at the expense of its customers just because it can't have control over everything. This carrier should've been regulated years ago when it started regrouping itself.

People complain that government shouldn't get involved? This is what happens when it doesn't. A monster has been resurrected due to lack of essential guidelines and proper monitoring. Did government mess up? Yes. By not getting involved sooner.

This is going to be the 80's all over again soon.. AT&T is doing it to themselves.

I cannot believe that they were allowed to even get back together in such a large fashion to begin with. This is what was broke up almost 40 yrs ago, just for our politicians to not learn from the mistake and let it happen again.

It is rather obvious that your bias is so much against ATT that you will disagree with anything they do. ATT is not even the largest company against Obama's proposed takeover of private property so why constantly hate on just them? It is becoming more and more clear that every one of your posts are biased towards Obama and against ATT. Do you really think your beloved Sprint disagrees with ATT? Ive been with every national carrier. All are douche bags in their own ways. To be honest, Im nowhere near a fan of ATT for MANY reasons but your little crusade is old, tired and strongly resembles a zombie beating a long dead horse with its own leg. Seriously, take a vacation from ATT posts for a while.

First of all, I despise Obama. I didn't vote for him and I would love to see him impeached. However, the imposition on private property is due to how the private sector is handling the ownership of public property. The carriers own the infrastructure but, we own the airwaves and the internet. And the spectrum is leased to the carriers by licensing. We need to keep the control on this as well.

Secondly, all the carriers are scoundrels hence why we need to impose a more regulated(not asking for heavily) industry for acting as watchdogs for these carriers or we will just keep getting the same s**t all the time.

Lastly, I don't know how old you are, but I hate on AT&T because I was around and fought for the breakup of this monster due t...

Lol. Rather long winded there. And yeah I was around for the MaBell breakup. If you are really for fair consumer treatment, then you know what Obama is suggesting is 100% against that. Free markets are what ensure consumer choice and customer satisfaction. What Obama is trying to do is create ObamaCare Internet. So regardless of all your hullabaloo and grandstanding, if you are for more government intervention and regulation you are not on the side of the consumer.
