Yup. In a "negotiation" with Samsung, Apple wanted money to give Samsung permission to use touch screens (at all, not some specific design or implementation). One of their patents was for selecting items in a list (again, not any unique method, literally just selecting one item from a list).
Then of course their rubber band patent was shown in court to exist on an older non-Apple device, but they still want money for it.
