Not sure what to think.
It seems like a really slick device, but also it's kind of redundant given that most phones already take stunning photos. I'd be interested to see if this catches on.

You cant really leave your phone in one spot all day to take a time lapse. Also this looks like you can quickly pull it out of your pocket and snap a picture within 2 seconds where with even the moto x it might take a minimum of 8 seconds to get the phone out and picture snapped. Time is money!

Not sure how it's waterproof without a cover on the charging port...

The Kyocera Hydro XTRM is waterproof without covers on the charging port or the headphone jack because they are gold connectors which wont corrode.
I like that it can be used as a remote live viewfinder as well. You can set it up pointed out your front window and see who's at the door without getting my lazy self off the couch.
Although I don't know why they would put the charging port on the bottom, can you not use it while it's plugged in? What if you wanted to set up a time lapse over a week or 2? Would the battery last?
