yea thats true about the look still would be nice to have something look a little better that way it would appeal to more people and possibly save BB
right im the same really the only 3 compamies i like and will use are BB Apple & samsung, thats about it.
havent used BB in some time just due to availability and not a fan of the full keyboard like that but still a great phone

If you can use the Note 3 with one hand you must have gigantic Andre the Giant sized hands. I can barely even hold the Note 3 in one hand, let alone also use it.

Actually....I just grabbed my Note 3 and was able to swipe my thumb on the screen and use it in one hand....but it wasn't comfortable....I prefer using two hands....I suppose someone with only slightly bigger hands than mine might be able to do it comfortably....I never even used my Z10, a much smaller phone, in one hand out of fear of dropping it and shattering the screen.

when i think of beiong able to use it with one hand im meaning with out having to wory about dropping it, being able to use any part of the phone with ease, yes its nice to be able to swipe the screen with only using one hand but dont see that being really being able to use with one hand

I use mine to do all sorts of things with one hand all the time. I realize that not everyone can do that, but I'm not exactly huge. I think you will find it common that people can use the device with one hand. Also, Samsung included one-handed software to optimize button placement for one-handed use. I never use it, but its there for others who may need it.

ive never used one of the notes so not sure what the feature looks like, ill test it out, apple sort of has an advatange with theirs in a way since you dont have to actually go into a setting for it, but thats one of probably few advantages

For the Note 3 you do a quick move with your thumb on the screen and it's in one handed mode, easy to do with one hand once you get the motion down. What it essentially does is make the visible area of the screen smaller and moves it down to the bottom left or right depending on what hand your using. You can adjust the size to fit your hand. It is a little difficult to hold with one hand by itself however I have an Otterbox commuter series case on my Note 3 which makes it a little thicker and much easier to hold with one hand.

It's much better than the "reach-ability" setting on the iPhone because you can still see the whole screen and it will stay in that mode as you navigate through the phone.

I often use my Note 3 with one hand. I'll admit that kind of use doesn't afford a tight grip, but you don't always need a tight grip. Also I have big hands, but I don't think that at 6' tall my hands are any larger than most men's.
