to further clarify my stance, which rich already did a pretty good job of...
just because the blast is in t-mobile's lineup, or arsenal, doesn't mean it's a great phone or that it's fun to use. i'm not sure what i said there caused you to think that's what i meant. the Blast is pretty decent at messaging, but some of t-mobile's other phones are even better. unfortunately the weak additional features of the blast don't offer users something to make up for this.
