Yes.
The T809 is slimmer and has Bluetooth, a memory card slot, and a swivel camera.
The T709 definitely doesn't have a swivel camera, and it's not "ultra-thin" (just thin). It does have Wi-Fi, though, and I would assume it has UMA as well.
The feature list I have is short, but it doesn't mention Bluetooth or a memory card slot, which I would expect if it had those features. It does mention MP3 player, so a memory card slot is possible, but I really doubt Bluetooth.

The T809 has been confirmed and is in T-mo's collateral as well as the Pebl, the T709 is some time away from launching. The launch of the T709 will coincide with "personal Wi-Fi" service that T-mo should hopefully roll out in Q1 or Q2.
