😎 I am one of those that actually still want a clamshell! 😉
I agree. Sliders are made to break. Even the best of them.
Although they're still kind of new and not many people have them, I have yet to come across a broken slider. Flip phones, on the other hand, I come across all the time.
Think about it. With both a slider and a flip, there are two points where the two pieces connect. With a flip, it's really 2 single, round, small points connected at some sort of hinge. Clamshells make up the largest portion of cell phone sales each year. I like them and would never go back or swith to another form factor. Personally, I think slider phones are too fragile (having owned one myself).

I agree, although I prefer the candybar form factor myself. I don't want to swivel, slide, or flip anything. I just want to take the phone out and put it to my ear.

U might have a point on sliders breaking. I myself own a flip at the moment, and like the convience of sliding it into a case which is attached to my belt. Ive seen how candybars are handled(purse or pockets) and me myself, could never own one. I could only imagine how sliders could fit in my small case, could they? Ive also noticed that sliders are more featured packed as of late. Well as u can see im still debating. 😉
I've grown accustomed to candybars due to my fondness for Nokias. They're durable and easy to use, and they've pretty much set the standard for me. I do, however, like flips...but I'd never buy a swivel or slider simply because they're impractical.
