Is the dimple on the back as deep as it looks in the pics?

It's pretty big.
It's technically only 0.8mm deep, but it feels like a bottomless pit to my finger.
I prefer the dimple, too, but I think you'd get used to the new "pit" pretty quickly. I can't think of any good reason it should be a deal-breaker for anyone.
