Verizon "More Everything" $100.50 for 2GB Yikes! And this is with a 23% discount! (Verizon's single line 2GB plan with a 2 year contract is about $5-11 cheaper than "more everything" depending on the contract phone price.

Verizon's prepaid plan is a better deal than their postpaid now and i never thought it'd see the day.
Now if it was $60 a month for 2GB *and* a subsidized (2 year) iphone/S5 for $199.99 with no sales (or cheaper) then yes it's a good deal as it'd be essentially $42ish a month when you factor in a phone subsidy. When I went on Verizon's site though that wasn't the case...I keep getting $90, though once it did show up as $60 (on the mobile site). Too many confusing plans for sing...

Yes, it is $60 a month before taxes for UNL Talk and TXT before taxes, but you can't add any discounts to that. that's the price
That's the kicker. The plan is $60, but you can't lower it anymore than that.
The hope is that everyone will eventually adopt EDGE, but as long as EDGE is still more expensive, it's a waste of time.
the prepaid is still a much better deal than the post-paid $60 for 2gb of data just to save a little on the phone.
If you used 4GB of data on the post-paid plan, you'd be at $90/mo before tax, prepaid is just at $60/mo.
