Wouldn't that be GREAT! It is I would love to have them halve both Verizon & AT&T. Can you imagine how good the cell plans would be with 6 carriers that have to fiercely compete because they are all of similar size? AWESOME!

I'm not so sure it would be a good idea, I can see a return to nasty roaming fee's, or truncated service being provided if one is out of the area. Just like at our friends from the "Great White North". Go outside your home area and you can get screwed. Heck some have better roaming agreements with US carriers, then if you're from Newfoundland then visit Vancouver, you end up getting hit with fee's and thats even on the same carrier.

Apparently you are too young to remember when we had six wireless carriers. Things were a lot more expensive back then.
