Throttling vs. Net Neutrality

I can't believe this troubles Wheeler, but he's fine with 'net neutrality'. As much as cable companies say neutrality would only add a faster access point for those who pay for it (netflix), in reality, it would throttle those services who refuse to pay for access.

You can tell Wheeler came from the cable companies (he was a Comcast lobbyist), not the wireless industry.

Net neutrality is a good thing. Wheeler's proposed Net Neutrality legislation was exactly the opposite of Net Neutrality and effectively killed it. He's hardly "ok" with net neutrality.

That's not what net neutrality is. That's exactly what net neutrality isn't.

Net neutrality means that you don't throttle speeds and that you don't look into packets to see what kind of data is there so you can prioritize it. Net neutrality means you do your best to deliver whateve...
