The Senate has its finger on the pulse of america... maybe they should have thought about premium text messaging ten or fifteen years ago when it was much more prevalent and people lost a lot more money, and carriers would still shut you off with an etf for premium messages people didnt even know they were getting. How many people in this entire country of cellular users even use premium SMS anymore?
What fools they must think we are, look over there, its high premium text messaging rates, that is Very Very important in the big scheme of what the Senate is Supposed to do, because there is nothing more important to attend to, all american's don't deserve water. I wonder how much they spent on this 82 page study alone, leading with the lin...

They need to stay in power or many will be going to jail. Not going to name names, but I hope the senate picks up some senators that actual care about this country in NOV.

I don't deny for one moment that these companies tend to be unscrupulous, but let's be clear who actually is to blame for these charges appearing on their bill: the customer. They are the ones indiscriminately providing their cell phone numbers to these companies, and even after they get it stopped once, they do it again. Yes, the companies are unscrupulous about taking advantage of customers, but if customers didn't give out their phone number, these companies wouldn't have the chance to do that.
