Sprint Likely To Launch Power Vision Monday
$2.50???
It is still rather expensive.
Remember, there are roughly 170 million active cell phones as we speak. Just because you can't picture yourself using it, don't think no one will.
i get unlimited downloads for free, ringers, apps, games, and screen savers, all vision sprint downloads. RadioShack Employee plan.
my plan: 1000mins @$20,Unlim N&Ws starting @7 $5,Unlim PCS2PCS Free, U/l Txt $5, Total Equipment Protection $6, U/l Vision/U/l dloads free, & U/l RL Free
Also, this can be downloaded anywhere on the EV-DO network. W/ the ROKR 🙄 , you have to be @ the computer to transfer them.
Coverage 😳
So what's it like having to rent that 250$ GSM handset when you wanna go outside the US?
EDGE coverage pimpsmacks EV-DO most people who would buy the ROKR have notebooks with wi-fi cards and cellular modems.
"EDGE coverage pimpsmacks EV-DO..." Wow, I'm speechless! You've completely defended yourself. What are EDGE speeds compared to EV-DO right now? Oh, that's right, half @ best. Do your research and get back to me.
And by the way, "pimpsmack" is a word I used when I was in highschool, good choice of verbage though, really!!

That's just ridiculous. Very few people will actually use it. If the employee plan gives it to you for free, then I'm not complaining (like they do for vision, RL, downloads, and multimedia channels).
I think the demographic Sprint's shooting for is in the 12-24 range. At that age I'm not really sure the kids even care what they're paying to get what they want.

I can imagine all the parents calling up customer service wondering why their bill is so high, get upset, complain to consumer reporting agencies and thus bringing down Sprint's overall scores even though it was the parents' faults to begin with...
That happens with any carrier's service. I'd say 99% of that is avoidable by simply taking a step back and asking yourself if your kid is old enough to handle a cell phone.
