Sorry, I like my coverage. You get what you pay for. Paying less per month is useless if the phones are useless too.

I apologize that where you live your coverage with T-Mobile is bad/non-existent. This deal obviously is not meant for you. I am a T-Mobile user who came from AT&T. While I can't speak for every single part of the country, or even parts of the state that I don't travel, my service has overall been better than what I received with AT&T. I have not had a problem with my coverage. My phone is far from useless. For some people, this will be a great deal if the coverage allows it. That is up to each person to figure out and test. There is no contract, and they even have the "Test Drive" program. I have no interest or affiliation with the company with the exception of using their service. I just see a lot of T-Mobile bashing when it comes to covera...

I have T-Mobile prepaid, & in NW Indiana, T-Mobile has yet to make their coverage better than AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint. Even when USCC had service in my area, they were on par with Verizon. I understand that T-Mobile at the moment uses only higher frequencies in the bulk of their markets (a few markets have 850, but not many), but if Verizon & Sprint can build out good networks in higher frequencies (regardless of band), then why can't T-Mobile do a better job at it? Where I live, they're strictly PCS & AWS, & being near one of their towers, & I would see the signal at times drop down to no coverage, while my other phone, on Verizon, can work in many areas where the signal might be marginal, stays steady, & can make calls, & use data. Ye...

That's true, and obviously GreatBigPhony lives in an area where it's beneficial. For me it's not. I live in upstate NY where unless you are in Syracuse (my general area), Rochester, etc, or the main highways, you have nothing. I just hate that as you read the article on TMO's site, their CEO or whoever laughs at AT&T like they are the worst carrier out there. Maybe they shouldn't be so quick to make fun of another carrier and realize they are #4 for a reason. I just hate TMO's stance lately of being the little yappy dog barking at other carriers when those carriers are so much bigger and better.
