Blackberry and IBM have never had a partnership or any kind of joint venture.

And as far as it goes, Blackberry is entering into partnership with Amazon, so it is not as if there are no options on the table for them at all. A partnership with Amazon is huge.

Actually it is bad news for BlackBerry.. Just listening to the BBC business report and they brought up that very question. What you say is correct, while BB has never had a relationship with IBM, it will still take more business away from the failing company..No one is really excited about the Amazon deal and analysts expect BB it to cease operating eventually..

I'm excited, everyone at Crackberry.com and the Blackberry Facebook page is excited, lots of people are interested in seeing what comes next. So it is not in fact true that no one is excited by it. A company like Amazon investing in the Blackberry platform is good news for the company, no matter what 'analysts' say, the same analysts, by the way, that told everyone to keep buying Enron stock right up until the moment the company ceased to exist.

The people that count, investors would be stupid to invest in blackberry..Analysts had warned about problems at Enron, people just didn't pay attention.. BlackBerry will be another Palm in 3 years or less..

Although, the newer ones are decent devices, and where I live here you can get a brand new Z10 for less than $100.00 with a contract, a huge contrast of $600.00 when it was originally released.
