The purpose is to test out the network. Upgrading customers are already familiar with the network. If you need more than 14 days to decide if you like a handset then I doubt 30 days would be enough.

Sorry but I don't trust this company for anything. I had Sprint for 12 years. The 1st 5 or 6 years were great. Then in about 2008 there network was slower than slow. After months of this slow network, I decided to move to Verizon. I had NO CONTRACT WITH SPRINT. But somehow they wanted to charge me 180 to leave. It took 5 phone calls, and lots of talking and talking. Never ever again! No Way SPRINT. YOU SUCK WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE.
