Those phones got shot out of the ugly cannon...

And no GSM850. Set phasers on "ignore".

its a novel idea, but perhaps a better design? its better than the phone that looks like a birth control dispenser. now, that was a bad idea.

I think the phones will sell well. Only needs bluetooth and they will be great. I think its about time Nokia had some more phones geared to women. Come on guys have always gotten the coolest toys. Now Nokia see's a open market of eager consumers and is looking to expand there market. So stop complaining. You never see women complaining about the phones that are for a majority geared towards men. Let us ladies step it up a bit. 😛

Uh...hello? Brown? What women do you know are going to want a BROWN phone?

Pink? That would work.
Purple? Sure
Blue? Red? Possibly

Brown? Most of the women I show this phone CRINGE when they see it.

pink? purple? those are colors for GIRLS. the women with money, the women who nokia is obviously trying to sell these phones to are seeing brown and beige as the *it* color for purses and such this season. nokia will offer them a fashion phone to go with their $3000 fashion purse. then when the gap and all the chain stores copy the same style in a few months, these phones will be plentiful and all the girls will want them.

honestly, kudos to nokia for 1. paying attention to fashion trends and 2. desiging a women's phone that isn't just a regular phone with some extra swarvoski bedazzling and a bleepin menstrual cycle or calorie counter.

hahahaa... that is amazing. i thought at first, yeah, they were not that desirable, but looking at them they seem more feminine than even a bright pink razr even.

So, turds are in then? I don't think so. When every "girl" and "woman" I show the phone to backpedals in horror, sure that is a fashion statement, in the wrong direction.

Of course, this also begs the question, "IT'S A DAMN PHONE, WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE A HUGE FASHION STATEMENT?"

Kudos to Nokia for catering to the blithering idiots of the world.

I'm not sure some of the people on this board even have girlfriends, and I'd hate to know what they'd do if they were left alone with a Vogue magazine. 😛

In Europe and Asia, these phones sell like crazy, you see them everywhere. Be careful about applying your American fashion sense here, as they don't apply to the other 90% of the world.

And if people weren't interested in fashion statements, we'd all still be wearing outfits made of palm leaves and dried goat-skin. Modern up people!

Sorry, but the phone is just whack, yo. You cannot navigate around the mountain of whackness that it is.

I'm thinking that the women who wish to purchase these phones are probably into products like Louis Vuitton. You know, the purses that are warm amber or coffee brown? In case you don't know Louis Vuitton's product line, check out the following:

Do they look familiar?

i agree on targeting women but the problem i see is any carrier in the US going to pick them up? nobody picked up the last series that were red and black (which i am not ashamed to say i kinda like too) as always we'll have to set back and watch all the cool phones over seas.
