Either you have an anti-Cingular, pro-Verizon bias or you are in desperate need of some further reading on technology.
Verizon recently came out with EV-DO. If you don't have a Motorola E815, LG VX8100 or other recent phones, you DON'T have EV-DO on your phone which means you are not up to date when it comes to data technology. Cingular is going to skip the UMTS only stage and jump right into UMTS with HSDPA upgrades. Verizon is going to come out with EV-DO Revision A and Cingular is going to come out with HSUPA.
So PLEASE don't act like Verizon is not doing the same thing with technology.
