How typical of Motorola...

They find a "niche" phone & go with it for as long as possible. Anyone remember the T72x series? Or the V60x series? They come up with something that is really popular & then drag it out until everyone & their grandma owns it. I really wish Moto could be more revolutionary & come out with something new/different more frequently. All I see is same crap, different smell...

The RAZR2 is very different. I have the V8 and I can tell you this isnt the same old razr. If you dont like them, thats your opinion.

I am sure you will be happy with a lesser phone, since afterall, Motorola WAS the first.

If it is so different, then why does it look very similar & why is it called RAZR2? Its the same concept, just in a prettier package. I saw the red on at the iPhone launch for my friends store. As for wanting LESS of a phone, I am an HTC 8525 user. I think I have more phone than most can handle. My 8525 is more high end than any Moto will EVER be.

Not exactly, The Q9H which drops in your mouth exactly about 1 month from now (on at&t) will do everything the 8525 can do now. Not to mention that its thinner and lighter.

Certainly close enough even with the lack of a touch screen. Plus its gonna run windows mobile 6 which blurs the line as much as ever between ppc and smartphone.

have you ever used a gsm motorola with windows? it's like a train wreak, 🤣 the q9 will be no different. i'll take the htc 8525 or the htc s630, which is more comparable to the q9.

Good Lord in Heaven...I can't even count the iterations of the V60 series.
