I started to read the posts on this forum and I really got frustrated. I just want to know how many of you actually use these EV-DO or any other high speed wireless internet??? The 3G cingular is rolling out is WCDMA based and is slower than HSDPA and EV-DO but HSPDA is only a SOFTWARE upgrade and anything else faster will be hardware,(I am not sure what else is faster right now, excluding WI-FI and such) I stay with Cingular data because I can use my laptop with it and can code it to do just about anything, Verizon I can not find any way to tether a laptop to a phone and use cheap data rates. If anyone has I would love to hear it, but as far as people posting someting just because they like to argue, that is different.

Do you have the HSDPA capable card by Sierra? I want to hear your experiences with it.

I have a Verizon aircard, but ONLY b/c Cingular is a procrastinator, of whome I am losing my patience with, b/c they are so far behind. And with reguards to pairing a Bluetooth phone to a laptop, no hopes of any such things with a Verizon handset, b/c Verizon is EXTREMELY controlling with they're handsets. I am a data ONLY customer with Verizon, this coming January, will have been with Cingular for voice.
But yeah, your right, and it's sad, that quite a few of the people posting in this forum are argumentative, rather than the forum being a resource.

People treat their opinions as facts. They fail to recognize that other people can have valid opinions that are different, and when they do, they try to persuade on why their opinions are the best.

If something is a fact, the best thing to do is to back it up with a link. or @ least a mention as to where they read something.
