What is with this
No frontfacing camera and no flash, I understand it is a budget phone but seriously, theres $20 androids on the market that have a flash on the camera.
...
But those are subsidized. This phone is with no subsidy and completly unlocked.
...
Im sorry, What do you mean by subsidized?
...
I'm OK with no "selfie" camera. But I agree with you on the flash, CHIPMUNK. I've seen cheaper phones with flash, so WTF Moto?
It's not like I'm going to buy it anyway. Though it may show up as someone's xmas present, you know, because of the budget.
...
thats what im thinking, get it as a backup for when my fiancee breaks her lumia, which is inevitable
...
What cheaper phone have you seen that is unlocked?
...
This is one of the cheapest out there. (No smartphone actually costs $20 unsubsidized.) So they have to cut all extra features to reach such a low price.
And yet the screen and main camera are pretty decent; that's impressive. IMHO, if they chose those areas to not skimp, they chose well.
No front-facing camera is actually very common for a non-LTE phone these days. That's no surprise to me.
...
Im more upset about the no-flash trend. I use my phone as a flashlight when i'm working on my car but my current phone (dropped my old phn in oil and got the cheapest smartphone i could find at walmart, the lumia521) and cant stand not having a light to use
...
You could always buy a cheap flashlight.
