Nvidia Seen Drifting Away from Smartphones

They really never drifted towards smart phones. They never tried to sell it to anyone and qualcom won.

they only put their chips in a very limited amount of devices, and made it seem like their chips were so exclusive, when they weren't. Most times their chips were sadly much slower than the comp, and any exclusive titles made for their chips could easily be ran on other GPU's.

It's still strange to see a company like this to nearly abandon the part of the electronics industry that is exploding in growth. With the last generation of consoles, the xbox 360 went 8 years before being replaced, the PS3 7 years, and the Wii 6 years. It's true they pushed millions of units and the internal hardware often finds itself updated for the sake of cheaper manufacturing but it seems like people would buy far more phones in that period of time than gaming devices. Do they even build cards for the stagnating desktop and laptop market anymore?
